Family Photos

Well, we finally got everyone together today and had out family photos taken. Kerin did a great job - they all came up really well. These are two of my favourites, of course I am biased as they are of my boys :-) Declan did so well, despite his lack of sleep. He totally missed his afternoon sleep, but he managed ok. He did crash in the pram afterwards.
The other two photos are the family shots and boy is it hard to corordinate that many people for a good shot. I was so nice to have Nana as the centre of these photos. She really seemed to enjoy it.
As usual the kids were great with Declan and Rohan and there was lots of fun had by all. We went to a little park not far from our home and the trees and the water was a great backdrop. The ducks were also a big hit with the kids, we just forgot to take bread, so my dinner roll was donated for the good of the ducks. Well for the peacefulness anyway :-)
This doesn't seem to be sitting well on the page, so please excuse it until I can figure out a way to fix it all up and make it pretty.
Be Back Later

Wow - I've just started Blog!!! This is all new for me. For a short time now I have been perusing others blogs, especially in search of digital ideas and inspiration. I was just reading a blog - Amanda Roberts new one http://designsthatrawk.blogspot.com/ and I thought I can do this - so this is what I am doing. This is a place for me to share some of my work, and to document Declan's life for family and friends that may wish to have a peek. Really it is just my modern day journal seeing as I spend so much time in front of this machine :-) Here's a picture from tonight. Declan was trying to climb onto the seat of his rocker and stand. No longer any fun in just sitting. For the last two days he has been found standing in his porta cot - he's just tall enough that when sitting he can reach the top of the cot with the tips of his fingers and just pulls himself up. Daddy now needs to lower the mattress on the cot at home, or he will soon be toppling over the side... Well there's my start for today, I'm off to finish writing my sabbath school program so I'll be back with more ramblings later :-)
